Fashion stylist for years, I decided to offer a new brand, in adequacy with my concerns and motivations. Raising my children offered the opportunity of learning elementary principles of nutrition and food preparation that I started to practice at home.

Through various readings, my interest turned from food to cultivation, industrialization, and their impact on health and the environment. Then, the lack of information for consumers as well as the lack of transparency from manufacturers started to raise my level of consciousness.

But, it really was an article read a few years back that triggered the whole process: WWF tested the blood of 39 members of the European parliament, many of them ecologists. They found roughly a hundred toxic products, most coming from our environment: phthalates, perfluorinated compounds, PCBs, flame retardants, pesticides with organochlorine compounds. These products were all suspect of perturbing our hormone system and of favoring the development of cancer or degenerative diseases.

As early as 2005, the birth of SobOsibio became imperative to me. After a period that was necessary to set up the project, the first collection of clothes for women was born for summer 08.
